Propellers at Rhein-Main Airport

The pictures were taken by Volker Crede's father. At those times, plane spotting obviously was entertaining and more comfortable than today.

Pan American's DC 6 in the right was impressive. The airplane in the left is a Curtiss CW-20. I have more pictures of this type in the section USA / Tamiami Airport.

The plane in the foreground on the picture below is a british Airspeed A.S. 57 "Ambassador".
