Near
Kyoto Station is a railroad museum located in an old roundhouse. Tomohiro-san
(whom we usually call Tom) helped us to get there. When we visited it,
one steam locomotive was prepared for a demonstration to school children.
After we had arrived, many of them gathered around us and tried to use
their english language knowledge for a conversation with us. We had a lot
of fun, and when we remember Kyoto Railroad Museum, we always remember
the children rather than the railroads.
